Following a debut performance as MD for "Fiddler on the Roof", I have continued to conduct choirs, orchestras and MD productions and shows.  I was associate conductor of the AMADE PLAYERS for whom I conducted a series of concerti, I was co-founder and conductor of TOCCATA PRODUCTIONS with whom I toured India, Zambia, Sri Lanka and Kenya.  

 

As MD of BERKHAMSTED YOUTH THEATRE I have performed "Thoroughly Modern Millie, "Around the World in 80 Days", and "Honk" and also composed  the music for a production of Carol Duffey's "Grimm Tales.

I am the musical director of the church choir of St Mary the Virgin, Ivinghoe, the community choir Sing Wilstone, and RAF Halton Military Wives Choir.  I am also conductor and hon Vice-President of Beacon Community Choir, Ivinghoe.

As musical director of the chamber choir, SABRINENSIS, formed in 2016, I have co-devised and performed three innovative programmes featuring poetry and texts and associated music:  "Do Not Forget Me Quite....." based on the life and writings of Ivor Gurney;  "John Clare - Nature, Glory and Tragedy" - reflections on the life of the 18th Century "peasant poet"; "And There Grow Flowers..... Remembering Will Harvey" based on the life and poetry of the "laureate of Gloucestershire" which they performed at the Three Choirs Festival 2019.  Sabrinensis toured Italy in April 2022 with the programme "Credo: La Vita di Gesù" which they also performed in Cheltenham and Ivinghoe. Sabrinensis has been invited to perform again next summer in the Three Choirs Festival 2023.
